SAT Subject Tests
Most colleges do not need you to take SAT subject tests. Although there are quite a few colleges that do require or at least recommend the applicants to take two SAT subject tests. Other colleges may use the score for placement in particular courses.
Do note that, even though it is not a requirement, it is highly recommended. Even colleges that do not necessarily require subject tests may accept them. It helps colleges understand a prospective student a little bit better as it gives them a more complete picture of their applicants. By sending in your subject test scores to colleges, you can highlight your strengths.
