Register my SAT test

 

The SAT is offered seven times each year in the US and six times internationally. It is offered in October, November, December, January, March (U.S. only; SAT only), May and June. You can register for SAT test in two ways:

1. Registering Online is the quickest and easiest way. Some benefits you get: a. You can choose your test date and test center in real time b. Receive immediate registration confirmation c. Get 24-hour access to registration for printing or correcting your Admission Ticket

2. Registering by mail is only available if you fall into one of the categories mentioned below
a. Pay by check or money order (Payable to “The College Board”)
b. Are younger than 13 years old
c. Register for Sunday testing for the first time due to a religious observance
d. Request that we open a test center nearer to your home
e. Cannot upload a digital photo as part of the online registration process
f. Take the test in Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, Nigeria, or Togo g. Register through an SAT representation (required in Kenya)

To register by mail, you need The Paper Registration Guide for the SAT and SAT Subject Tests, which is available from your school counselor. The Guide includes a registration form and return envelope.

When filling out the form, you may need a College Board code number for college majors, college and scholarship programs, test centers, or high schools. To find these numbers, use The College Board Code Search tool or the code list from your counselor.
