GRE – Scoring Pattern
Tests are taken earlier than Aug’201, Verbal Reasoning, and Quantitative reasoning scores were measured on a 200-800 score scale, in 10 point increment each. However, the new scoring pattern for candidates taken the exam on or after August 1, 2011, is measured on 130 – 170 score scale, in 1 point increments
1. A Verbal Reasoning score reported on a 130 – 170 score scale, in 1 point increments
2. A Quantitative Reasoning score reported on a 130 – 170 score scale, in 1 point increments
3. An analytical writing score reported on a 0-6 score scale, in half-point increments (No Change to earlier test pattern)
4. Any section in which you answer no questions at all will be reported as a No-score(NS)
