Let me tell you a story, it all started over a cup of coffee in Dubai. This was the first time I met the parents of Vishaal & Nishanth & I was immediately struck by their kindness as they unhesitatingly bought me a cup of coffee (for anyone who knows me. I was already impressed 😛)They trusted me with both boys together Nishanth, then entering the 11th grade and Vishaal entering the ninth. they flew down for every meeting from Dubai to Bangalore as Nishanth studied at TISB. I remember I jokingly told their father “I promise I’ll do a good job and you don’t need to come in and check in on me “ and Mr. Padmakumar replied “ I come because I learn more about my children in these 30 minutes with you than I do in my repeated phone calls to them” ☑️ I learned an important lesson in parenting -do whatever it takes to understand your children Nishanth went on to UIUC -I spent a wonderful dinner with him on a break from college and ☑️he explained to me how important it was for me to encourage students to have one on one relationships with me outside the construct of their family- something that has become a strong part of my practice. Vishaal made it to my alma mater @upenn and is a quaker for life . Through this nearly 6+ year journey I also gained a dear friend in Dimple - this message from her about Vishal‘s graduation means so much as they have always considered me a stakeholder in both the boys success. ☑️I’m blessed to have clients who have made me a small part of their beautiful families. I wish both these boys lots of love and happiness always.

This is such a proud moment! I have mentored @bhavanasinha from grade 8 and saw her metamorphosis into a determined goal oriented achiever . She now graduates NORTHEASTERN which she attended with a sizeable scholarship and is poised to take on the world ! Go @bhavanasinha . Proud mom take a bow @vandana_oc
